Sika Film is a moisture evaporation retardant. It is designed to be used on concrete surfaces to reduce evaporative water loss.
Sika Film is used to reduce the evaporation rate of water in concrete. It protects freshly placed concrete from the effects of excessive moisture loss in all drying conditions.

Colour | Blue |
Density (20°C) | 1.0 kg/litre approx. |
Coverage | When diluted at a ratio of one to nine, one litre of Sika Film will yield ten litres. Depending on surface profile and texture the total diluted material covers an area of approximately 40-100 m². |
Stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35ºC in unopened original containers, protected from direct sunlight and frost, shelf life is at least one (1) year.

Dilute at a ratio of 1 part Sika Film concentrate to 9 parts water. It is recommended that a dilution of 1:5 (Sika Film:Water) be used for very low humidity and windy condition. To mix, shake Sika Film concentrate vigorously. Thoroughly mix the one part Sika Film with nine parts water by volume. Shake diluted material thoroughly
The diluted Sika Film solution can be applied with a fine mist sprayer as soon as the concrete is deposited. Each time the surface is “broken” during the finishing operations Sika Film should be reapplied.
Equipment used to mix and apply Sika Film should be washed immediately after use with water.
